 HEAT TREATMENT & FINISHING 

Bombay Forgings has a batch type  heat-treatment plant complete with  auto-temperature control  charging  machine,  oil/polymer  and water quenching facility  having agitation and cooling facility for controlling quenchant temperature.

An Isothermal annealing line is envisaged to be set up in the near future.

The forgings after heat treatment undergo hardness testing and other micro and macro tests as  stipulated by  the buyer.   Forgings  are then  shot-blasted,  ground,  checked  for  any discontinuity followed by pre-machining, if required, and thorough final inspection prior to packing and despatch.

Pre-machining is being done through  dedicated vendors  financed and developed by the Company
