 Our Company 

Bombay   Forgings   Limited  is  one  of  the   oldest commercial  closed  die  forging  unit  in  the country. Established on January 06,1966 at Kalina, Santacruz(East) in Mumbai. The company established itself as a  supplier  of  quality  forgings  to  leading  OEM's user.    Increased  volume   of    business   led   to company's  capacity  expansion  and  setting up of its second manufacturing unit at Aurangabad in 1989.

Bombay  Forgings  Limited became  a  part of the Mukand   group  of   Companies in  1995.   The company, thereafter, relocated,  consolidated and modernised its manufacturing activity at Aurangabad.

Bombay Forgings Limited manufactures closed die forgings by the hot forging route using hammer and upset forging technology for use by the automobile industry, its ancillaries, general engineering, Tractor, Petrochemical  industries, Railways  and  Defence Establishments.

Bombay Forgings Limited is an ISO 9001 : 2008 certified  company. Preparation  for  TPM  and TS:16949  certification have been initiated.

Our Management

Management of the company is vested in the Board of  Directors headed by the Chairman,comprising of qualified  and  experienced  members   from   the Mukand group. The day to day affair is overseen by The Executive Director (ED) aided  by  requisitely qualified  and  experienced  management  and supervisory personnel.

 Our Strength

The Company has an employee strength of 250 comprising of a balanced  mix  of  Managerial, Technical,  Skilled and  Semi-Skilled cadre.

Bombay  Forgings  Limited has an installed  capacity  to manufacture  18,000 tonnes of closed-die forgings per annum.

Our  major  forging  equipment consists  of  hammers  ranging between 1 Ton and 8 Ton and Upsetters ranging between 800 Ton and 1250 Ton - giving the company the capability to meet requirement  of  any  and every forging within the  weight range of   0.5 kg  and  100  kgs  for supply  in  as-forged,  heat-treated  and/or  pre-machined forging as desired by the buyer.

Supply of component, forging in fully machined and ready to fit condition,  is  envisaged  to be introduced in the near future.
